Single Tooth Implant
Single Tooth Implant · Honolulu, HI
One missing tooth. One precise replacement.
A single implant replaces the root and crown of one tooth — without filing down the healthy teeth next to it, the way a bridge would require.

How it works
Root and crown, replaced separately from your other teeth
A titanium post is placed into the jawbone where the tooth’s root used to be. Over a few months, the bone fuses directly to the implant (osseointegration) — creating a foundation as stable as a natural root.
A custom crown, matched to your surrounding teeth in color and shape, is then attached on top. The result functions and looks like the tooth that was there before.
Why not a bridge
An implant vs. a traditional bridge
- Doesn’t require grinding down the healthy teeth on either side
- Typically lasts decades, vs. 10–15 years for a bridge
- Stops the jawbone loss that naturally follows losing a tooth
- Cleans like a natural tooth — no floss threader required underneath
What to Expect
